So Long Summer 2015...It's Been Real

I've long believed that when something good comes to an end that you don't complain that the ride is over, you just look back and enjoy the fact you were able to be a part of it in the first place.  You may have noticed that I haven't updated the ol' blog here in quite some time.  Well there is a good reason for that.  I've been busy having a summer.

What did I do this summer you ask?  Well let me tell you (in no particular order):

• Was at Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals where the Blackhawks won the cup.
• Traveled to Kentucky to see Mammoth Cave with my family
• Spent a week in Wisconsin going to the beach on Lake Michigan, kayaking and honestly just lazing around
• Snuck away to New York City for a weekend for a meeting, but also got to take in a Broadway play and  a Yankees game.
• Continued hosting Study Hall Radio on WCKG-Chicago.  Read all about that here.
• Had my writing published in Chicago Parent's Going Places magazine for the summer issue in May and soon to be released Fall issue here at the end of August.  Read them here.
• Had another piece of writing published in the nation's second largest parenting magazine, Family Fun.  Read it here.
• Spent a ton of time with my kids in general, hanging out in the yard, at pools, at parks...well a bunch of places really.
