Back in the day (like a little less than a year ago), I used to come on here and write everyday. Then it was almost everyday. Then a few times a week, then month...and finally I just stopped.
It's not that I wanted to stop. In fact, most days inside my head I compose three or four quality blog posts. But they never make it here. I rarely find the time to type up the words. A lot of factors go into the reasons why I don't get around to writing as much anymore. Some of my often used excuses include: -I'm watching Netflix (I love Orange is the New Black) -I'm tired. -I'm chasing after kids. -I'm tired from chasing after kids. -I'm cooking dinner -I'm cleaning up from dinner. -i"m tired from cooking, cleaning and chasing after kids. -I'm grading papers (valid only August through May) -I really wanted to write, but I fell asleep...on the chair in the living room...with the computer on my lap. So I am going to be a realist about this. I know I am not going to write everyday. With a job and three kids it just isn't possible. But a couple times a week...that is doable. And doable is a weird looking word when spelled out. Say it out loud and it sounds fine enough. But once you type it, it just looks wrong. But I digress. Here's hoping you check me out every now and then....and here's hoping there

Like most everyone on the planet, I was nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge by three different people. I didn't do it...or at least I didn't do it in the traditional way everyone else is accomplishing it. Take a look for yourself and you will see what I mean: Do your part. Step up and donate today to the charity, cause and/or organization of your choice. You can make a difference. Just look at the difference everyone who has donated to ALS has made.
